Access for All: Physical Mobility in Study Abroad

NAFSA: Association of International Educators joined the Association on Higher Education And Disability (AHEAD) and Mobility International USA (MIUSA) to explore the 2015 theme for International Education Week (IEW), “Access for All,” in a special live chat focusing on students with physical disabilities and education abroad.

NAFSA members and others joined this Q&A discussion on November 16, 2015 for one hour, featuring panelists from AHEAD, MIUSA, and education abroad professionals from University of Texas-Arlington and University of Wisconsin–Whitewater. We answered your questions about how to best include and accommodate students with physical disabilities in study abroad opportunities. For questions about the event, contact NAFSA’s Education Abroad Services Department.
